  29. Well, I just installed my Toaster in a brandy new A3000 25mhz that I
  30. purchased used from someone off the net.  Yeah, I hacked the case.  I
  31. felt it was a better way to go than the 2000 I previously had it in.
  32. I have a 2630 in the 2000 and I didn't like the idea of having to
  33. purchase the DKB memory card to add more 32bit mem so I opted for the
  34. 3000 and I will just start adding Static Column Zips.  Anyway, I also
  35. purchased the 2.04 ROM and 2.1 System Software.  I installed all this
  36. into the 3000 on a Conner 120 meg drive and I have my SyQuest 88meg
  37. removable hooked up as well.  The installation of the Toaster was
  38. simple enough..yes, I used a hacksaw.

  40. So, the Toaster does work in the 3000 with 2.1 but I do occaisionally
  41. get a "Toaster not responding" or "unable to calibrate for frame
  42. grab" message which I never got on the 2000.  Anybody know the
  43. official scoop on this?

  45. I'm also almost done with my latest Lightwave 3D animation for
  46. General Public Utilities here in NJ.  I'm looking forward to my next
  47. project!
